| Copeland, Lori Christian romance author Lori Copeland has
published more than fifty-five novels since
beginning her writing career in 1982. Her works
include a novella in the wedding anthology With This Ring and the Brides of the West series, containing Faith, June, Hope, and Glory. A recent women's fiction release, Child of Grace, was published in July 2001 and is about the tough choices that women are forced to make.
Christmas Vows $5 Extra is a heart-warming novella released in fall 2001, and Lori commented, "I don't
know how long it's been since I so thoroughly
enjoyed work!" She is also collaborating with
Angela Elwell Hunt on a series of three books,
The Island of Heavenly Daze, Grace in Autumn, and Winter's Warmth set in the town of Heavenly Daze, Maine.
Lori Copeland strongly feels that
Christian romance has a great ministry value.
"Today when there are so many broken homes, so
much unhappiness in young people's lives, I
think it's clear we need to rebuild our faith in
relationships. That's why the happy ending is
so important; romance novels emphasize that it
is possible to find and build true love. This is
especially true of a Christian romance, which
points to the Source of our hope and the Healer
of relationships, the Lord Jesus Christ."
Christianity to Lori means peace, joy, and the
knowledge that she has a Friend, a Savior, who
never leaves her side. Through her books, she
hopes to share this wondrous assurance with
others.
Lori and her husband, Lance, live in
Springfield, Missouri, and have enjoyed more than
43 years together in marriage. They have three
sons, three daughters-in-law, three grandsons,
and one granddaughter (they admit to spoiling
the only girl in the family just a little bit).
